ARC Year End Update 2020

Good news. Our relocation is now complete!
Three million recordings successfully moved and the new office and storage buildings newly painted and renovated. The HVAC system was just completed!  It's all so beautiful, on the Hudson River,
on the original Astor Estate in Dutchess County.

The first wall of shelving is up and ready to load in

We’re also working with the Bar Marmont in LA (above) to create a vinyl bar,
listening and event space. We hope to have online events by the Spring,
and live events by next Fall.  We are also hoping to renovate a house in Upstate NY for visiting scholars, our residency program launching in 2022.

So we asking you to consider a year-end donation in support of ARC.
There’s so much more to do. New hires, collections insurance, utilities
and programing so we can open to the public in 2021.

Our next goal is to create an Endowment Fund and launch a
Capital Campaign to start construction on our modern new building when thing thaw out and the pandemic is a memory. Here’s our architect’s rendering of the projected 20,000 sq. ft. building below.

Hope to hear from you soon!
